Bayahibe is a resort town on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. The town has beautiful beaches and is surrounded by coral reefs. There are excellent scuba sites in the nearby Parque del Este national park, and restaurants and bars line the waterfront. What was once a fishing village is now a popular tourist resort that attracts people from all over the world every year.

Bayahibe is known to have the best spots for scuba in the Dominican Republic, so explore the marine life of the region by scuba diving. You can snorkel and swim with nurse sharks, stingrays and tropical fish. Go on a buggy expedition around the resort and surrounding areas to see some of the native wildlife and discover the sugar cane and fruit plantations in the area. Paddle boarding is very popular nowadays and is a great and unique way of exploring the marine life around Bayahibe Bay.
